I would have put the seats back in and trimmed around the cage
Diego Urbina3 muaj më parë
vTuned, you should do a longer, slower type ( not slow-mo ) but, slow and show the shirt from different angles. Some panning of the turbo image. They will sell like cupcakes.

Laurel Bobo4 muaj më parë
A little off topic but I was wondering if you are related to the goonzquad boys? Are your pops brothers?
M Hollins4 muaj më parë

when you are so focused and hold the spray can cap in hand , just make me want to laugh đ
Jimf4 muaj më parë
when you find a position for the seat, it is pretty common to build a brace between the harness bar and the back of the seat. Really stabilizes the seat. Project looks great so far...good idea dyeing the carpet. don't forget dynamat under the panels
Dal Call Center4 muaj më parë
Would paint the blue black or cover....the blue looks weird with all the black
Verkoop Van Veen4 muaj më parë

Love your videos man đ€đŒ
fchapp4 muaj më parë
Like you said, leave the back panel design, but paint it black to match the carpet, the blue cage will set the interior off nicely.
MrBLUEDEVILUK4 muaj më parë
I would have coated the rear shelf with resin. Then stretched black fleece material over it. Revolted the fleece with more resin using a roller. Leave to dry...no more speaker holes!
Larry Joffe4 muaj më parë
There are so many things wrong with this roll cage. Please do some research on how to properly design, fabricate and install a a cage into a sedan. The hardware you are using needs to be hardened, you must use a backing plate. The main hoop MUST have a solid cross bar that goes from behind drivers head to the bottom of the hoop closest to the floor behind the passenger. the rear supports should be mounted into the wheel wells, not the seatback backs. That steel is no structurally strong enough to support in the event of an accident. A cage NEVER mounts on top of carpet!!! That is actually against every sanctioning bodies rules governing how to properly install a cage! It has to be metal to metal contact. Even in showroom stock racing, you have to cut the carpet for the cage to mount to the steel even when bolted to the car. Still need backing plates and correct hardware.

17:30 Hey Ben open a PO Box I'll send you some new Sharpie đđ
JFreak1764 muaj më parë
You should put some sound deadening under the carpet, bed liner alone isn't gonna cut it!
Scraky14 mtb4 muaj më parë
loving the build so far mate..

jamar humphries4 muaj më parë
I think you should paint the back black
Fearless Fosdick4 muaj më parë
You guys need a contour gauge for all those custom irregular shape cutouts like the rear seat MDF. They are cheap and the result is professional looking fitment.
Robert Chryssikos4 muaj më parë
Why donât you sell 5xll in shirts
josh williams4 muaj më parë
I would recommend putting in some good sound deadening
Willem P4 muaj më parë
You can fit a nice subwoofer on the back seat there....

You definitely should of put down some sound deadener before you put the carpet and the other interior parts in. Definitely would help with all the noise from outside
Death trap :( This cage is dangerous in case of front or side hit. It might only help while rolling over.

You risked it for a biscuit spraying the carpet! Great video again Vtuned
Diaaust12r4 muaj më parë
Put carpet unstead of that mdf pannel and insulation foam. It will look amazing. Thumbs up its coming together. I can't wait to see tge LS engine running this built, it will be a beast!
Dave Sandford4 muaj më parë
How many of you thought he said âmedia fordâ. When actually he said âmdf boardâ. đ€
Russell Ellis4 muaj më parë
I would suggest framing out the back panel and leaving plexiglass window to show off the metal stamp work designs. It will allow you to highlight the designs while adding some sound barrier at the same time.

Vtuned, if you are going to use the car on the track officially, I think you better check the rules I'm sure that the roll cage has to be welded in not bolted or the scrutineers will NOT Pass it. Tony from Western Australia

Auwrite Ben! You'll surely be ready for drifting "bad" as Uncle Sam, at the LS Fest in Bowling Green Kentucky by next fall..

Drew Crews4 muaj më parë
V, you need a contour gauge to make those tricky cuts like on that back mdf, and engine firewall of the mustang... they're cheap and way faster and easier than cardboard templates...
David Pascal4 muaj më parë
with all that black you gonna need an ACđđ
Jordan Harris4 muaj më parë
Barbasol foam shaving cream works wonders for cleaning carpet
Danik Bikes4 muaj më parë
Flock the dash. Would look killer
IHcubcadet4 muaj më parë
Great work man!
Anom Amos4 muaj më parë
When spraying carpet you brush it in one direction first spray it then brush it in the other direction and spray it again then if it needs another coat you brush it 90^ to they way you did before. That way you get all the strands fully coated.
Andrew Ferguson4 muaj më parë

ShottBoss2017 Progress4 muaj më parë
Great job... I would carpet that back piece and color match the roll cage to the car.. I think it would pop more that way.. leaving that back piece exposed, the lames are not going to understand
Vaselinos4 muaj më parë
Do similar shapes to that mdf as is in back firewall
jamie Dean4 muaj më parë
You could just paint the back black, you keep the color flow plus keep the cool design đ
Viktor Ottosson4 muaj më parë
I think it looks awsome dude ! And hey, wrap the backseat panel to, it will increase the Finnishness to spot on ! đđ»

Nicholas Trado4 muaj më parë
the square edges on the MDF is killing me
Michael Dorman4 muaj më parë
I think it would look so much better if you carpeted the back as well. But it looks great, keep up the good work đ
jeremy evans4 muaj më parë
I think you should just polish the cage up little and clear coat it
Raul Matias4 muaj më parë

I was doing the same thing a couple months ago with my â85. I bought it with no interior other than two junk racing seats and a dashboard. Iâve been using my â88 parts car and swapped the whole interior. I used the same paint you used for my back panel with the speakers, swapped the dash from the â88 and painted it along with the console. Side back panels werenât too bad and I havenât gotten to the door panels yet. The seats from the parts car are pretty rough, but I kinda like the aged look on certain things. I painted the whole interior with rust reformer paint after patching some holes in the floor pan, I think it looks pretty good as Iâm not using the carpet. I used bed liner on the footwell areas and have been painting the engine bay lately. I also undercoated the whole driver side and wheel wells so far. Mine isnât gonna have a roll cage or cool motor or anything, but itâs looking a lot better. I also had to fix a lot of the normal things the car should have(dome lights, horn that works, power locks, cruise control, washer fluid reservoir and pump, rear seat belts, etc.) The previous owner had cut all the wiring and deleted all that stuff so itâs been a pain, but Iâve learned a lot about the e30âs in the process. There are differences in the interior, seat belts, and wiring, gauge clusters between my two e30âs which have given me issues but Iâm making progress. I loved watching you work on the Mustang as the first Mustangs are my favorite, but seeing you guys working on your e30âs is more enjoyable because youâre doing a lot of the things Iâve been doing. You definitely have better resources and talent than I do though. Keep up the great work.
Spinz4 muaj më parë
are ya'll going to fix the dash?

When are you going to finish the Mustang?
Information Overload4 muaj më parë
11:27 Why not weld the nuts to the underplate? :)
tazfaninafocus4 muaj më parë
25:22 PMSL. The car is coming along really nicely. Unsure about the rear being left uncarpeted though. As the carpet is quite thin, you could still get the contours to show though. Apply the adhesive to the car and the carpet, let it dry off, and you will be able to lay it across and use a spoon (best thing) to stretch the carpet into the recesses. I think that would look quite good.
